
Karen is a PR visionary. She takes a comprehensive approach to public relations overseeing The PR Boutique’s luxury brand development and event creation to fulfill client goals and objectives. She brings a wealth of experience in the real estate, business, entertainment, hospitality and fashion industries.
Henry started her career with a Texas-based agency whose clients were former NFL greats, Houston Oiler quarterback Dan Pastorini and Detroit Lion turned actor Alex Karras. She then relocated to Los Angeles where she delved into the entertainment industry, handling public relations for clients such as Donna Summer, Chicago, Helen Reddy, Sylvester Stallone and Ray Sharkey. Later Henry founded Blanton & Henry Public Relations, developing PR campaigns for such prestigious hotels as the Little Nell in Aspen, the Ojai Valley Inn in California and the Scottsdale Princess in Arizona. She was also public relations manager for renowned writer and lecturer, John Bradshaw.
Henry serves on the University of Texas College of Fine Arts Advisory Council. She has affiliations with Greater Houston Partnership, Greater Houston Conventions and Visitors Bureau, Houston Country Club, The CHRISTUS Stehlin Foundation, the Center for Success and Independence and American Heart Association. Henry attended the University of Texas at Austin majoring in communications, holding her bachelor’s degree in theatre from Lamar University.

With the individual client as a top priority, Gretchen spearheads The PR Boutique’s media relations campaigns on a local, regional and national level while managing the daily orchestration of all communication efforts. She has a profound knowledge in marketing consumer brands and developing community partnerships.
Prior to forming The PR Boutique, Brice worked in New York City at international public relations firm MWW Group overseeing national media and investor relations for consumer accounts such as PetSmart and PetSmart.com. Early in her career, she led business-to-business and consumer accounts that included Whole Foods Market and Travelocity.com for a Texas-based independent public relations firm. Brice also was Director of Public Relations for Houston’s Buffalo Bayou Partnership and worked closely with the public and private sector to promote urban green spaces along Houston’s main waterway.
Brice serves on the PetSet and Amschwand Sarcoma Cancer Foundation board of directors. She is honorary chairman of the Buffalo Bayou Partnership young professionals group, Bayou Buddies and is on the SPCA capital campaign committee. Brice is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a public relations specialization from the University of Texas at Austin.

Emily Shuffield
Creative Director
Emily Shuffield contributes to the daily maintenance of client’s media relations, social networking, graphic design and event needs. Prior to joining The PR Boutique, she has worked for organizations such as Bullfrog & Baum, a full-service public relations, marketing and consulting firm in New York City, and local Athens, Georgia nonprofit organizations such as Nuci’s Space, Athens Multiple Sclerosis, UGA HEROs and Interfaith Hospitality Network. These organizations have given her the skills and experience necessary to represent The PR Boutique’s wide range of clients.
While earning a bachelor’s degree in journalism-public relations and a minor in Spanish from the University of Georgia, she gained graphic design experience by working for a local fashion boutique and band for which she designed flyers, logos and assisted in website creation and management. Shuffield is involved with Be An Angel Foundation, the Friends of the Stehlin Foundation and Dec My Room.
Kendall Clay
Media Specialist
As Media Manager at The PR Boutique, Kendall Clay oversees all media alert, advisories and releases as well as creative pitches. Kendall has experience in all aspects of media relations with a focus on entertainment, real estate, fashion, large-scale events and celebrity press days. She began her career at Moroch Partners corporate office in Dallas where she handled publicity and promotions for movie releases from major motion picture studios. Most recently she worked in the marketing department of Ebby Halliday, REALTORS – the largest residential real estate company in North Texas. .
Clay is a founding member of the Bayou HEROns, the young professional supporters of Bayou Preservation Association, is a graduate of Texas Christian University and a native Houstonian.

Laura Park
Social Media Specialist
As a PR Boutique Junior Account Executive, Laura Park is responsible for all public relations and marketing activities for various types of clients, specializing in graphic design, social media and event planning.
Park attended Texas A&M University before transferring to the University of Houston where she acquired a Bachelors of Arts in Public Relations and a Global Business minor in December 2012. While attending U of H, Park was active in the Public Relations Student Society of America, holding the position of Web Coordinator in spring 2011 and President from fall 2011 to spring 2012. After interning for local nonprofit, Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA) during the summer of 2011, Park joined The PR Boutique team in January 2012.
Park was born in Dallas, TX, but grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia where she developed her love for travel. She is involved with Friends for Life and Bayou HEROns.
