CLIENT:
Benihana/ RA Sushi

CLIENT DESCRIPTION:
Owned by Benihana, RA Sushi Bar Restaurant, an upbeat, unconventional sushi bar, opened its first location in Scottsdale, Ariz. in October 1997. RA has 25 locations across the country including two Houston locations: Highland Village and CityCentre.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The PR Boutique was retained in 2005 to handle the RA Sushi Highland Village grand opening event.  The agency created a grand opening casino night featuring a FESTARI fashion show benefitting Contemporary Arts Museum.   More than 500 guests attended the RA Sushi Highland Village grand opening including key media, local celebrities and philanthropists.   The PR Boutique has remained on retainer and has since been instrumental in promotion surrounding the opened a second Houston location, RA CityCentre.

RESULTS:
Since the opening of RA Sushi Highland Village, the restaurant continues to receive praise from Houston’s top media outlets including Houston Chronicle, Houston Press, PaperCity Magazine, 002 Magazine, JMG Magazine, Houston Intown Magazine, Houston Modern Luxury, KRIV-TV, CW-TV, KHOU-TV and CNN radio, to name a few.   In December 2009, Houston Press named RA CityCentre as one of the “10 best places to eat in Memorial.”  RA Sushi Highland Village has been named “Best Sushi” by H Texas and Houston Press readers and one of MSN’s top ten restaurants nationally.
